I was reading my Bible and I found these verses and I was just in awe at how cool it was. So, I figured I'd better share them.
On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." - Matthew 9:12-13
That verse tells us that no matter how much we have messed up that God still wants us. The messed up ones are the people that Jesus died for. It sums it up the best when it says "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick..." I love that. We judge people all the time but we forget that Christians aren't the only ones who can have Jesus or need Jesus. There is a whole world full of sick people who need God but we are hindering them from the greatness of God because we kee it a secret and don't tell people about it. That is like knowing the cure to cancer and not letting people use it, meanwhile people are dying from cancer. It sounds ridiculous to not share something so life-changing.
